Equipment Donations
We are looking for - and gratefully accept - operational computers, printers,
memory, disks, accessories (monitors, keyboards, mice, switches,
routers, memory, disks, power adapters, USB printer cables, wifi
adapters, etc.) and new/sealed printer cartridges.
Specifically:
Computers: Windows Desktop, Minitower, or Tower systems made by Dell, Windows Laptop (any brand), Chromebook, Windows tablet. If you live in the Boston area, and if you are - or your organization is - upgrading
your computers either because of the requirements of the Microsoft Upgrade to Windows 11 or for other reasons, please consider donating the leftover computers to us.
Memory and disks: Memory modules (2GB, 4GB, or 8GB desktop or laptop), hard disks (250 MB or greater, desktop or laptop).
Accessories: Functional monitors, keyboards, mice, 100 MB or Gigabit switches or routers, laptop or printer power adapters, USB printer cables, wifi extenders, wifi adapters, etc.
Printers (used or new) and Cartridges (new/sealed): Laser (any brand), Inkjet
(HP preferred, but see note below). If you live in the Boston area and
you - or your organization - is upgrading one or more printers, please consider donating the leftover
printers to us.
For computers, printers, monitors, keyboards, or other large equipment, please send us an email message with a description of the donation and your contact information, to
bostoncommunitycomputers@outlook.com, or call Adam Frost, our Technical
Director, at the phone number below, so that we can make arrangements for pickup or receipt of your donation.
Donations of printer cartridges, small accessories, memory, disks, etc. can
be sent by USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex (please box with bubble wrap) to the
address below. If you live in the Boston area, you may also drop off
these items (in boxes, please) at this same address.

(Note on inkjet printers - we prefer donations of HP
printers because of their reliability. However, if you live in the Boston area,
and you have a small or large-scale donation of operational inkjet printers
and/or cartridges made by another manufacturer that are reliable, we would
gratefully receive them, but please not Epson inkjets, which use an unreliable
ink formulation.)
Donation Request
We are looking for monetary donations as well as donations of operational computers (laptop, desktop, mini-tower, tower, tablet, Chromebook), printers, new/sealed printer cartridges, and other accessories (monitors, keyboards, mice, switches, routers, cables, power adapters, etc.).
GetConnected - Boston Community Computers is a project of the Adbar Women's Alliance, a non-profit (501c3) non-governmental organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Please use the PayPal donation button or contact us at the email below if you would like to make a direct donation to us.
If you don't have a PayPal account, PayPal will allow you to use any credit or debit card. PayPal is a completely safe, data secure funds transfer and payment service.
